TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PHILIPPINE CUISINE: LUTONG BAHAY NI MAMA SITA (SECOND EPISODE)

In observance of the Month of Overseas Filipinos in December, the second episode of Traditional and Contemporary Philippine Cuisine: Lutong Bahay ni Mama Sita is the Philippine Embassy Seoul's tribute to the Overseas Filipinos, especially the Filipino community in Korea.

The official release of the second episode of Traditional and Contemporary Philippine Cuisine: Lutong Bahay ni Mama Sita will be made available on the Philippine Embassy's Facebook page and Mama Sita Recipe Youtube channel on Tuesday, 1 December 2020.

Chef Lee Je Nam will demonstrate the cooking of beef Caldereta, the nearest equivalent to the Korean dish, Galbijim. Episode 2 also features saba banana turon for dessert to promote available Philippine food ingredients in Korea such as Cardava "Saba" bananas, muscovado and coco sugar.
