• For children born to Filipino parents, if the child and the mother will stay in Korea for less than 90 days, the child is required to be registered with the Philippine Embassy and apply for a Philippine passport. For the procedure on how to report the birth of a child, please refer to http://www.philembassy-seoul.com/consular.asp#pt7.

If the child is staying in Korea for more than 90 days, the child is required to have an Alien Registration Card (ARC) from the Korean Immigration.
