SEOUL PE PARTICIPATES IN THE 60TH ASEAN-KOREA CENTRE’S EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING
23 April 2026, Seoul - The 60th Meeting of the ASEAN-Korea Centre Executive Board (AKC EB) was held at the Press Center Building in Jung-gu, Seoul on 23 April 2026. Deputy Head of Mission and Consul General Edwin Gil Mendoza chaired the meeting, which was participated in by officials from the 10 ASEAN Member States and the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The programs and activities of the Trade and Investment Unit were presented by its new Head from the Philippines, Ofelia R. Usigan. An official from the Timor Leste Embassy was also present as an observer, following Timor Leste’s accession as the 11th Member State of ASEAN in 2025.

09 April 2026, Seoul - During the 2025-2026 Korean Basketball League (KBL) Awards Ceremony at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Samseong-dong, Seoul, two Filipino players were given awards for their outstanding performances during the 2025-2026 KBL season.
