SEOUL PE CONDUCTS CONSULAR OUTREACH IN DAEGU

Seoul, 03 July 2018 ? The Philippine Embassy in South Korea conducted its two-day consular outreach mission on 29 and 30 June in Daegu Metropolitan City, the fourth largest city in South Korea after Seoul, Busan, and Incheon.

The six-member consular team of the Philippine Embassy, led by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Ella Karina R. Mitra, pose with the officers and members of the Daegu Filipino Community Council and volunteers of the Daegu Catholic Workers' Center after the 2-day Consular Outreach.
The consular mission, the third for the year, was held at the Catholic Workers' Center in downtown Daegu in coordination with the Daegu Filipino Community Council (DFCC) and the Daegu Catholic Workers' Center. The six-member consular team was led by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Ella Karina R. Mitra. The team was also joined by PAG-IBIG Member Services Officer Dominic Leoligao.

The Consular Team tallied a total of 397 cases of passport applications, civil registration, notarials, travel documents, NBI clearances, and certifications during the two-day outreach.

Daegu, which is 238 kilometers south of Seoul, is home to over 1,600 Filipinos.
