15TH SEARCH FOR THE OUTSTANDING WOMEN IN THE NATION'S SERVICE (TOWNS)


The 15th Search for The Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service (TOWNS) is now open to nominations for outstanding Filipino women, between 21 and 45 years old (born not earlier than 31 October 1970), who have exceptional accomplishments and/or positive contribution to strengthening national capability and shaping the nation뭩 future by serving as catalysts for economic, social and cultural development, national security and national unity.

The rules and regulations, nomination form and other information are attached. The deadline for the submission of nomination is on 30 JULY 2016.

Awardees will automatically become members of TOWNS Foundation, Inc. and are expected to continue their exemplary work in their respective fields.

TOWNS Foundation, incorporated in 1995, is a national organization of dynamic and effective women who by their common shared activities help transform the lives of Filipinos. TOWNS award, beginning 1974, is a triennial activity held during the last week of October. The search for these women is held nationwide for a period of one year.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
