ADVISORY ON APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF E-PASSPORT

Please be advised that the Philippine Embassy in Seoul implements an appointment system for applications for renewals of e-Passports.

Passport applicants need to secure or arrange an appointment schedule online by logging on to http://www.philembassy-seoul.com and clicking on the online appointment system link. For those who do not have access to the internet may also call 010-9385-0535 and wait for confirmation on the next business day. This service is free of charge.

Passport applicants who do not have an appointment may be entertained on a case-by-case basis, and depending on the volume of clients, but they will have to wait until those with prior appointment have been served.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention. The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
