ADVISORY ON SUSPENSION OF iREHISTRO


The Philippine Embassy informs the public that the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) announced that the iRehistro platform, which is used for the ongoing overseas voter registration, will be offline effective 5:00 P.M., 13 October 2023 (Philippine Standard Time), for system enhancements and maintenance.

In the meantime, applicants may still register by accomplishing the OVF-1 fillable form (https://comelec.gov.ph/php-tpls-attachments/OverseasVoting/


2023RegForms/AnnexA_OVF1_Fillable_v3_2.pdf) on the COMELEC website or a hard copy available at the Philippine Embassy. Applicants are also reminded to bring a valid Philippine Passport and a copy of the datapage for the taking of biometrics. In the absence of a valid Philippine Passport, supporting documents can be any of the following: 1) Identification Certificate and a photocopy thereof for dual citizens; 2) Seafarer's Book and a photocopy of the datapage for sea-based workers; or 3) Certification from the Embassy for those with lost or expired passports and are eligible to apply for lost passport replacement or passport renewal.
