APPLICATION FOR EWHA UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP, FALL SEMESTER 2017


SEOUL, 11 January 2017 - The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform all Filipino women in South Korea that Ewha Womans University is accepting applications for international students for its fall semester starting in March 2017. The admission rounds have been scheduled on two phases: the first phase will start on 16-26 January 2017 and the second on 03-28 April 2017. 

Considered the best and biggest comprehensive women's tertiary institution in South Korea, Ewha Womans University offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Natural & Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, Engineering, Music and the newly established bachelor degree program in Korean Studies. In order to foster excellent international women leaders, the University provides students with a variety of scholarship programs and on-campus housing options designed for international students.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
