BASAHIN: BABALA UKOL SA PANGUNGUTANG SA SOUTH KOREA


Pinapaalalahanan ng Embahada ng Republika ng Pilipinas sa Seoul ang lahat ng Pilipino na ang pangungutang at hindi pagbabayad ng utang ay mga transaksyong may kaakibat na pananagutan sa ilalim ng batas ng Republika ng Korea.

Ayon sa Chapter XXXIX, Art. 347 ng Criminal Act ng South Korea, maaaring makasuhan ng "fraud" ang isang tao na nangutang ngunit walang intensiyong magbayad sa simula pa lamang. Maari ring masampahan ng kasong sibil ang isang taong hindi nagbayad alinsunod sa pinagkasunduan.

Hinihikayat ng Embahada ang lahat ng ating kababayan na maging responsable sa pangungutang at mag-ingat sa pagpapautang o pagpasok sa mga di-kilalang pamumuhunan o investment scheme. Ang sino mang naging biktima ng mga ganitong mapanlinlang na transaksyon ay hinihikayat na dumulog sa pinakamalapit na himpilan ng pulisya at magsampa ng reklamo laban sa mga may pananagutan.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
