If our country benefits from tourism, you and your loved ones need not even travel to other countries to seek employment to improve your standard of living. Tourism can help you and your families have a better life, better home and better education.

When you convince a Korean tourist to visit the Philippines, you contribute directly to the development of our nation. Apart from the rich opportunities for people-to-people exchange offered by tourism, the dollar spent by Korean tourists in the Philippines also helps boost our economy in many ways: from the hotel they use, to the restaurants and shops they patronize, to the cab drivers they hire, and to the local industries they support and help enhance, tourists stimulate growth and progress.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
