DISPOSAL OF UNUSED ELECTION MATERIALS IN THE 2010, 2013, AND 2016 NATIONAL ELECTIONS


The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to notify the different political parties and independent candidates that, pursuant to Commission on Election's (COMELEC) Minute Resolutions 16-0408 and 16-0409, the Embassy shall proceed with the opening of ballot boxes containing the accomplished ballots on 29 and 30 July 2016 at the premises of the Philippine Embassy in Seoul. This will be undertaken for purposes of collating and bundling the same.

The disposal of unused election materials used in the 2010, 2013, and 2016 national elections shall be carried out in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Comelec.

Please be notified that the Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) of the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, originally scheduled to convene on 20 July 2026 at 10:00 A.M., has been postponed to the next working day, 21 July 2026, at 10:00 A.M.  The hearing will be held at the 2F Conference Room, Philippine Embassy, to hear the applications for registration, certification, reactivation, correction of entries or change of name, change of address, transfer, recapture, and other types of applications filed with the Post from 01 April 2026 to 30 June 2026.
