EMBASSY TEMPORARY OPERATING HOURS FROM 15 JUNE 2020


The Philippine Embassy informs the public that in view of the unabating upsurge in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and the ROK Government's decision to extend, indefinitely, the heightened social distancing measures imposed in Seoul and the surrounding areas (Gyeonggi Province and Incheon), the Embassy and POLO-OWWA Korea will continue to provide services to the public from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Sunday to Thursday, until further notice when the South Korean government lifts the tougher social distancing measures it is currently implementing.

The Embassy Emergency Hotline Number: 010-9635-2312 will temporarily be operational from Sunday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to assist clients with urgent queries or concerns on consular matters. Outside of regular office hours, the hotline number should only be contacted in cases of emergencies.

Further, all clients are required to wear masks within the Embassy premises and pass through the digital thermal imaging scanner at the lobby in consideration of our kababayans who are availing of Embassy services. The Philippine Embassy requests the Filipino community in South Korea to exercise utmost care and vigilance at this time. END

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
