1. Foreign spouses of Philippine nationals;

2. Foreign minor children and foreign children with special needs, regardless of age, of Filipino nationals; and
3. Foreign parents of minor Filipino children and of Filipino children with special needs, regardless of age.

In addition to the above, the Embassy may also accept and evaluate requests for exemption from the temporary suspension of visa issuance of foreign partners of pregnant Filipino nationals, on humanitarian grounds, subject to the submission of the following, in addition to the prescribed requirements for the issuance of a 9(a) visa:

• Medical certificate on the pregnancy of the Filipino national;
• Duly-notarized affidavit executed by the foreign national that he is the partner of the pregnant Filipino national (and father of the unborn child), and that they have been in a relationship even before the COVID-19 pandemic;

• Documentary proof on the citizenship of the pregnant Filipino national (e.g., PH passport, birth certificate)

The abovementioned foreign nationals who wish to enter the Philippines may apply for the appropriate Philippine visa from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, except public holidays. Personal appearance is required. For inquiries, please send an email to visa@philembassy-seoul.com.

Please be reminded of the following: (1) the aforementioned foreign nationals still need to present the pertinent supporting documents to the Immigration Bureau upon arrival in the Philippines; and (2) a visa does not guarantee entry into the Philippines. END
