IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PHILIPPINE E-VISA SYSTEM IN THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public on the implementation of the Philippine e-Visa system in the Republic of Korea starting 23 June 2025

Residents of the Republic of Korea entering the Philippines for temporary visits who are eligible for Philippine e-Visas may apply remotely by visiting the official website evisa.gov.ph and paying e-Visa fees online via direct bank transfer in a secure manner.

Once issued by the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, the approved e-Visa can be accessed by holders remotely (e.g. personal computers, laptops, mobile devices, etc.) and can be presented in either digital or printed format. The e-Visa will no longer be affixed to passports.

e-Visa holders are reminded to accomplish the online Philippine e-Travel registration form (https://etravel.gov.ph) only after the issuance of the e-Visa by the Philippine Embassy in Seoul to avoid experiencing difficulties in Philippine ports of entry.

e-Visas issued for tourism purposes are not valid for conversion to other types of Philippine visas, and their authorized period of stay are not valid for extension. Foreign nationals who intend to visit the Philippines for studies, employment, and other non-tourism purposes are advised to apply for a regular visa sticker at the Philippine Embassy. END
