PAALA-ALA PATUNGKOL SA PASSPORT RENEWAL


Seoul, 20 Marso 2017 - Pinaaalalahan po ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Korea ang ating mga kababayang Filipino na ugaliing alamin at tandaan ang validity nang inyong mga passports. Hinihikayat po namin ang lahat na may hawak ng passports na mayroon na lamang validity na hindi hihigit sa isang (1) taon na mag-renew na ng kanilang mga passports sa kadahilanang ang regular na proseso ay tumatagal ng anim (6) hangang walong (8) linggo.

Ang pag-eextend ng validity ng ePassport ay hindi iminumungkahi ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sapagkat may mga bansang hindi tumatangap ng extension stamp at sila ay nagbabatay lamang sa validity date na nasasaad sa electronic chip na napapaloob sa ePassport. Ito ang nagiging sanhi kung bakit may mga indibidwal na nao-offload sa kanilang pagbiyahe o hindi tinatangap sa ibang bansa.

Para naman po sa ating mga Overseas Filipinos na uuwi sa Pilipinas ng maikling panahon lamang, kayo po ay maaring magpa-renew ng inyong mga passport sa Embahada bago kayo bumiyahe at i-request na lamang na ma-release ang inyong bagong passport sa DFA Consular Office sa Aseana, Pasay City o sa pinakamalapit na DFA Satellite o Regional Consular Office.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
