PHILIPPINE EMBASSY TO CONDUCT CONSULAR OUTREACH IN DAEGU


The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino public that it will conduct a Consular Outreach Mission on 21-22 June 2019 (Friday and Saturday) in Daegu, North Gyeongsang Province to be held at the Daegu Catholic Workers Center located at Gwangyok Junggu Jungang-daero 77-gil 40.

The Embassy will render consular services including processing of passport applications and renewals, civil registrations, notarials, travel documents, NBI clearances, and certifications.



Applicants for passport renewal are reminded that PSA birth certificates are no longer required EXCEPT for the following cases:

• First time passport applications;
• Lost or mutilated passports;
• Applicants on the DFA watchlist;
• Renewal applications of old brown and green passports bearing no complete middle name; and
• Renewals requiring changes in personal information

Additionally, applicants holding dual nationalities are also reminded to bring a copy of their Certificate of Retention/Reacquisition to renew their passports.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
