SSS OUTREACH SERVICE IN SEOUL, 12 MAY 2024


As part of its efforts to enhance its public service, the Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino community in Korea that the Social Security System (SSS) will conduct an outreach service in Seoul on Sunday, 12 May 2024, to provide the following services:

1. SSS Number verification/reactivation;


2. Online registration assistance;
3. Member information update/data change;
4. Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP) and
5. Benefits claims application.

The SSS outreach service desk will be open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm for anyone interested in the foregoing services. No prior appointments required. Applicants may look for the SSS representative at Room 102, Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy at 80 Hoenamu-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
