TEACHING ENGLISH SKILLS ENHANCEMENT AND TRAINING SEMINAR BY THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform the public that it will be conducting a Teaching English Skills Enhancement and Training Seminar for Filipino teachers in South Korea on 18 March 2018.

The one-day seminar will introduce elements of the English language, teaching fundamentals, and culture-based approach to Filipino teachers who teach Korean students at language academies. The participants of this seminar will undergo effective language and teaching training through workshops and feedback sessions. At the end of the workshops, the participants will be able to conceptualize and deliver meaningful language teaching that affects Korean students' learning, motivation, and confidence.

TESOL experts will be conducting the seminar to ensure that participants will be given quality instruction using effective methodologies.

For those who wish to sign up for the seminar, kindly submit a letter of intent addressed to Ambassador Raul S. Hernandez, as well as a copy of your Curriculum Vitae, to the Philippine Embassy on or before Sunday, 25 February 2018, to the following email address: seoul.pe@dfa.gov.ph.

Please be advised that due to the limited capacity of the venue, and to ensure a more effective teaching methodology, the seminar will only accommodate a limited number of participants. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.

For further information on the program, you may contact Vice Consul Ella Mitra at telephone number 7967387 local 405 or through email ella.mitra@dfa.gov.ph.
