To All Heads/Focal Persons of FilCom Organizations/Institutions in Korea


1. The Ministry of Labor of Korea has selected and provided support to thirty-seven (37) organizations across Korea to be Caring Centers for Foreign Workers Changing Workplace. During their job-searching period, workers who have registered for change of workplace can avail of free accommodation, food (breakfast at least), and job searching assistance. Attached is the list of the said 37 Caring Centers with contact details. You can also visit our website – www.philembassy-seoul.com

2. Workers who are experiencing communication problem or difficulty in understanding differences in culture can now avail of the Three-Party Phone Communication for Foreign Worker Service Center. By dialing 1644 0644 +7 (for English), you can avail of a three way communication/translation service, consultation on existing laws of Korea and Korean language and culture. Other numbers include: Ansan – 031 475 1862; Uijungbu – 031 838 9111 to 2; Masan – 055 253 5270 to 2; Kimhae – 055 338 2727; 055 338 1631 to 2 The above Service Centers likewise provide community support activities to help workers adapt to the living and working condition in Korea. LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
