USAPAN OFW: A LEADERS’ FORUM A DZMM Radio Program with Presidential Aspirants


On 1 August 2009, Saturday, at 4:00-6:00 PM, Manila time, Usapan OFW: A Leaders’ Forum will be aired live on Teleradyo of the DZMM and on the internet via www.netvision.com.ph. The said program is organized by the Blas F. Ople Policy Center in partnership with DZMM TeleRadyo of ABS-CBN Corporation. The show has invited 2010 presidential aspirants to talk before an audience mainly composed of OFWs.

Confirmed attendees to the program are Senators Chiz Escudero, Loren Legarda, Mar Roxas and Governor Ed Panlilio. The program aims to provide a venue for the guests to voice out their platforms for migrant workers. Henry Omaga-Diaz, Susan “Toots” Ople and Jasmine Romero will be hosting the program. All Filipinos in South Korea are invited to listen to the program so that they can be aware of the positions of the presidential aspirants on OFW-related issues. The Philippine Embassy reiterates its invitation to all those who have not yet registered for the 2010 elections to register as soon as possible, as the last day of registration is already on August 31, 2009. Registration is ongoing at the Philippine Embassy from Monday to Friday, at the Hyehwadong Catholic Church every second and fourth Sunday, and at the consular section of the Philippine Embassy every first and third Sunday. A field registration team will also conduct registration services in Ueijeongbu, Daejeon, Gimhae and Ansan in August 2009. For inquiries, please email seoulpe@philembassy-seoul.com.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
