KAPULUAN: ISLANDS OF VISION – An Art Exhibition


Jimmy Vista is one of the featured artists in Kapuluan: Islands of Vision, an art exhibition organized by the Embassy of Philippines in cooperation with the Korea Foundation Cultural Center and the Seoul Global Center. The Exhibition will be open to the public for free from 8 to 18 October 2008, at the Nuri Gallery, Korea Foundation Cultural Center.

Jimmy Vista an award winning artist from Tanay, Rizal, features Filipino life in rural setting in his vibrant works mostly rendered in water color. His works have toured various galleries in the Philippines, China, Hongkong, Singapore, and Malaysia. The art exhibition will also feature the arts of Loreta Medina, William Gaudinez and Samuel Penaso. All Filipinos in Korea are encouraged to visit the exhibition anytime during its entire run at the Nuri Gallery, Korea Foundation Cultural Center.
