Philippine Embassy Recognizes Hyehwadong Filipino Catholic Community


25 June 2010 – Philippine Ambassador to Seoul, Luis T. Cruz reported to the Department, that the Philippine Embassy awarded a certificate of appreciation to the Hyewadong Filipino Catholic Community in recognition of its invaluable contribution to the rescue, relief and recovery efforts in the wake of Typhoons Parma and Ketsana that hit the Philippines in September 2009.

Attending the simple awarding ceremony held at the Embassy on 25 June 2010, are Fr. Alvin Parantar (second from left), Hyehwadong Filipino Community parish priest, together with Fr. Arvin Mosqueda (left) and Dr. Emely Abagat(right), representing the Filipino community in Hyehwadong.
