19 October 2026, Seoul – The Philippine Embassy in Seoul warmly welcomes incoming Defense and Armed Forces Attaché Captain Aldrin A. Gacusan (PN) GSC at the Philippine Embassy during his courtesy call on Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez. He was accompanied by outgoing Defense and Armed Forces Attaché Col. Don D. Templonuevo PA (GSC). 

The Embassy extends its best wishes to Capt. Gacusan as he succeeds the leadership of the Office of the Philippine Defense and Armed Forces Attaché (OPhilDAFA) in the Republic of Korea. DAFA Gacusan is also the Philippines’ Liaison Officer to the United Nations Command (UNC) in the Republic of Korea.

The Embassy likewise conveys its utmost appreciation to outgoing Defense and Armed Forces Attaché Col. Templonuevo who has completed a very productive three-year tour of duty to the Republic of Korea. During his term, DAFA Templonuevo has actively contributed in advancing PH-ROK defense and military cooperation. Under his leadership, the OPhilDAFA has provided steadfast support to Embassy engagements and Filipino community events. END
