The Philippine Embassy in Seoul, through the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), held on 3 July 2022 an online seminar on "Palit-Visa: How to Change from E9 to E7 and F2-99 visa" as part of its Labor Education Program. The webinar was organized in response to the numerous requests for guidance on how EPS workers can transition to a visa type that will allow them to stay and work in Korea for a longer period.

PHILIPPINES AND REPUBLIC OF KOREA SIGN AGREEMENTS FOR AGRICULTURAL MECHANIZATION AND MODERNIZATION
7July 2022, Seoul - The Philippine Embassy in Korea witnessed the signing ceremony of three new Memoranda of Agreements (MOAs) between the Department of Agriculture - Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (DA-PhilMech) and the Korea Agricultural Machinery Industry Cooperative (KAMICO) and three Korean firms Sungboo Co., Ltd., Bulls Company Ltd., and Leehwa Industry Company on 20 June 2022 at the KAMICO Center in Cheonan. The agreements are pursuant to the continuing PH-ROK technical cooperation in agricultural machinery development since 2016.

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul celebrated the Wagayway Festival of Imus City, Cavite on 25 June 2022 together with Yeoncheon City government officials led by Mr. Jong-Uk KIM, Manager of International Affairs, Ms. Hyo-Sook BANG, Ms. Ju-Ok LEE, and Mr. Tae-Woon OH. Yeoncheon City, Gyeonggi Province is a sister-city of Imus City, Cavite Province. Mr. Kim congratulated the organizers of the festival and in describing the festival he said "I'm just saying one word Mabuhay" to all the participants. In 2009, friendship and cultural exchanges began between the two cities before a sister-city agreement was signed in 2017.

Noting the many facets of the national hero's life, Ambassador Dizon-De Vega said that Dr. Rizal wore many hats - including as a poet, ecologist, artist, inventor, medical practitioner, and illustrator, among others - that made him relatable to every Filipino.
