Effective 04 July 2011, Filipinos applying for a Legal Capacity to Marry a Foreigner or a Report of Marriage to a Foreigner are required to watch a short video presentation on the situation of Filipino spouses in South Korea. The Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) requires Korean citizens applying from abroad to submit a medical examination clearance from any licensed clinic or hospital physician in the Republic of Korea. The medical clearance form can be downloaded from the PRA website www.pra.gov.ph. The medical clearance issued abroad must have an English translation and authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in Seoul.
