Ambassador Noe A. Wong believes that the Philippine jeepney, regarded as "King of the Road," will give Koreans a glimpse of life in the Philippines and how it feels to ride the Philippines' most popular public transportation as well as create a connection between Koreans and Filipinos.
The ACH welcomed the donation of a Philippine cultural icon as part of the cultural center's Philippine permanent collection, as the look and feel of the jeepney and its unique features will be greatly enjoyed by ACH visitors.
The Philippine jeepney is currently exhibited at the front deck of the ACH in Busan.
