Philippine Embassy Seoul Participates at the Hi Seoul Friendship Fair


Amb. Luis T. Cruz visited the Philippine Embassy booth at the Fourth Hi Seoul Festival Friendship Fair held on 10 May 2008, at the vicinity of Seoul City Hall.

The Embassy sold Philippine handicrafts and traditional Filipino food. San Miguel Beer and Del Monte pineapples and bananas were also sold at discounted prices during the Fair. Proceeds from the Fair will go to the Embassy’s Assistance to Nationals Fund. The Friendship fair is an annual event organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. A total of 56 embassies participated in the extravaganza, which collectively turned Seoul downtown area into a multicultural arena of different colors, food, folk arts, songs and dances.
