06 March 2022, Seoul - Minister and Consul General Romulo Victor Israel Jr. represented the Philippines in the follow-up roundtable meeting convened by the ROK Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) supply chain partnership on 24 February 2022 at the Lotte Hotel Seoul.

The Philippines is part of the ten resource-rich nations that participate in the regular roundtable discussion on supply chain cooperation convened by MOTIE. During the meeting, the Philippines reiterated that as one of the world's major suppliers of raw nickel, cobalt, and copper needed for the global value chain, it looks forward to collaborating with ROK in the supply assurance and processing of these minerals through programs benefiting both countries.
