ADVISORY ON HEAT STRESS

Further, the Ministry of Employment and Labor also issued guidelines to prevent heat-related illness in a heat wave (33째C or higher) condition in work establishments.

To prevent heat illness, the Embassy encourages all Filipinos to:

• Bring and drink cool and clean water, inside and outside workplaces (at least 1 pint of water per hour is needed)

• Use break period to rest and cool oneself in shaded areas if humidity is high

• Use proper attire and head covering to protect oneself from heat
