PH EMBASSY EXPRESS CONDOLENCES TO MIRYANG FIRE VICTIMS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform the public that per initial information from Korean authorities, as of 7 p.m., Friday, 26 January 2018, there are no Filipinos among the 37 dead and the more than 70 people injured on the fire that ravaged a hospital in Miryang city, South Korea late last night, Thursday, 25 January 2018.

The Philippine Embassy also wishes to extend its most sincere condolences to the Korean people, most especially to the family and friends of the victims.

We are in constant coordination with Korean authorities and members of the Filipino Community in Miryang. This advisory will be updated for further developments.
